FREE & OPEN TO ALL
The Yogathon is the annual fundraising event that supports the Iyengar Yoga Association of Greater New York (IYAGNY). Each year for the past 16 years, Association Teachers and students come together to celebrate the heart of Iyengar Yoga: the practice, the lineage, and our community.
For more than 30 years, IYAGNY has been providing inspiration and a refuge to study the art, science, and philosophy of Iyengar Yoga. The Association supports a diverse community of practitioners throughout our three-state region.
Our two teaching Institutes, located in Manhattan and Brooklyn have now been able to expand our reach worldwide through our online classes. We are an increasingly large and inter-connected community of students and teachers where all are welcome.
class taught by: Lena Ang-Silverman, Amita Bhagat, Carolyn Christie, Norma Colon, Nikki Costello, Sharon Cotugno, Matt Dreyfus, Debby Green, Santiago Hernandez, Eve Holbrook, Michelle LaRue, Tori Milner, Marcia Monroe, James Murphy, Stephanie Perry Bush, Dmitri Shapira, Dan Shuman, Mimi Visser, Lara Warren.
