Thank you for being a part of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Greater New York – a diverse community of students and teachers who are connected through the sustained practice and study of Iyengar Yoga.

Mary Dunn, Senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher and one of our founders, spoke these words more than a decade ago:

“The Iyengar Yoga Institute of New York is privileged to serve this cosmopolitan community and provide experience in this living art and science of yoga as taught by Guruji. We serve people of all cultures, in the arts and professions in various walks of life.
We are honored to take our place among those Institutes and centers all over the world providing a link of universal understanding in yoga between nations, cultures, and people that comes from the culturing of each individual soul.”
