Welcome to February at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of New York and Brooklyn!

Now that the year is underway, we invite you to bring yourself back to the mat and reconnect with your study and practice of Iyengar Yoga, a great antidote to all the stresses of life.

As B.K.S. Iyengar writes, “Life means to be living, problems will always be there. When they arrive navigate them with yoga, don’t take a break.”

An Iyengar Yoga practice provides the tools to pursue complete alignment of the body, mind, breath, and soul – joining the physical body and consciousness.

We offer multiple programming options to (re)connect to your practice — take a class, a workshop, or sign up for a series.

NEW STUDENT OPTIONS

As a new student, Iyengar Yoga offers a safe and systematic progression of study, helping you develop your skills and abilities within each class and from class to class. New students also will use props such as blankets, blocks, belts, and chairs to deepen the learning experience and adjust your postures to suit your individual needs.
